Retreat Staff
Yoga – Yogeshwari Cindy Lawrence CMT, CYT teaches with heart, precision and enthusiasm. She is a well-trained yoga professional with over 20 years working in the healing arts. Authentic and passionate, Cindy makes yoga accessible for all who are interested and promotes a nurturing environment. She listens to the individual needs of her students, incorporating requests to support healing and build strength. Her experience allows for an intuitive understanding of her students’ physical and emotional needs, connecting with people of different ages and cultural backgrounds.
Skin Care – Jen Zrubek, Aesthetician Jen uses the all natural skin care line Mychelle in her nourishing facials. Her focus is on long term results for clients and she works with each person individually to set goals and work together on maintaining healthy, beautiful skin and skin care derived from all natural products. She looks forward to working with you on your skin care needs, and would love to make a difference in your skin and overall well being. Everyone loves her enthusiasm and welcoming personality.
Massage and Facials – Mirabai Gale, CMT, CYT received her certificate to practice from the Colorado School of Healing Arts and has studied Ayurvedic oil Massage. Her massages are known as Mira’s Magic Massages! She offers massage and bodywork treatments that integrate Swedish, Deep Tissue and Ayurvedic principles. Her facials are fabulous. As a certified yoga instructor and a certified massage therapist, Mira seeks to integrate her continued study of yoga, bodywork, and Ayurveda into a lifelong commitment to nourish people through conscious touch.
Massage – Mary Ann Burns began massaging friends and family about 25 years ago because she wanted to share the wonder of therapeutic touch. A native of Louisiana, she has lived in Isla Mujeres Mexico for the past 20 years raising two sons who were born on the island. She is surrounded by nature and relative serenity since coming to Isla Mujeres and very much would like to share the Caribbean island with women in search of a nurturing atmosphere. She is inspired daily by the nearby archaeological ruins of the Mayan temple to the goddess Ixchel, turquoise waters, the sound of the surf, fresh tropical fruit, and warm breezes in the sun. Massage came as a natural way of interacting with tourism here and anyone who visits the Island's message board will recognize Mary Ann from the excellent recommendations there.
