Hatha Yoga
This class is infused with yoga philosophy, devotion, and
deep healing by including brief meditation and pranayama
(breathing) practice, as well as asana (posture) instruction.
Skilled teachers emphasize proper body alignment, body awareness, use of breath
for integration & release, and self-compassion. In addition, classes are
tailored to meet the needs of the individual student for that day. We invite
students to listen to their own body wisdom and move with awareness of the
breath. Most of our Hatha teachers trained at the Eldorado Yoga Mountain Ashram
in Shambhava yoga and meditation.

Gentle (Hatha) Yoga – All Levels
This class focuses on deep relaxation and offers students
a soft respite from hectic daily routines. Gentle stretching
warms and deeply releases the muscles, and restorative postures
profoundly relax and rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit. Optimum
health requires that we have an appropriate balance of activity
and rest, movement and stillness.

Beginner Basics
Beginner Basics is a foundation class designed to introduce yoga to beginners. Students learn yogic breathing, movement categories or asanas, basic philosophy, simple anatomy, inner focus, integration and awareness. This experiential and very engaging class is loads of fun. Join us for this excellent yoga sampler for beginners and seasoned yogis alike.

Meditation Instruction
Beginning meditation is introduced in our Hatha Yoga classes
as part of a complete yoga experience. For those seeking
more insight into stillness, we offer meditation classes
and private sessions. Meditation will show you the way to
slow down and move deeper into personal awareness. Learn
specific yogic techniques for quieting the mind and focusing
inward to develop clarity and inner calm. These are time
tested methods for improving concentration, focus and clarity
thereby reducing anxiety, worry and mental chatter. Our Shambhavananda
approach teaches students how to create a sacred space, practice
regularly, refine breathing, utilize mantra repetition, and
follow guided meditation. Beginner Meditation Classes are

Women's
Yoga Classes
Blissful Yoga - Tuesday, 6-7:45pm with Barbara Coleman
Diminish stress as you experience yoga at a slower pace with deep inner release. Class begins with a slow-paced all-levels asana practice followed by extreme relaxation and restoration in the form of body scanning, guided imagery, and in-depth movement of the spine using props, pillows, and blankets to assist your body in letting go of tension. Experience the bliss of melting away stress on all levels...physical, mental and emotional. This is an excellent class for releasing anxiety, chronic pain and tension patterns and mental business.
About the teacher: Barbara Coleman received Level I and II teacher certification in hatha yoga at the Shambhava School of Yoga. She is an advanced student of Dr. Richard Miller who developed iRest (Integrative Restoration). IRest is currently being used with Iraqi War veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Goddess Yoga – All Levels, Women

This class focuses on women's health concerns: PMS, hormone
regulation, overall balance, reproductive health, fertility,
and juggling the demands of family and work. Inviting the
divine feminine, this healing yoga practice embraces all
aspects of Hatha yoga, emphasizing female health and empowerment.

Yoga Therapy
Yoga is a powerful and potent vehicle for holistic healing.
Yoga therapy is a one-on-one experience with a yoga therapist
to facilitate deep healing on many levels. Yoga therapy sessions
can improve physical injuries and limitations, lessen strong
emotional patterns, reduce dysfunctional behaviors, and minimize
mental fluctuations, obsessions and worries. The foundations
or 8 limbs of yoga are incorporated with self exploration
and awareness to facilitate personal transformation and connection
to the inner self. In a compassionate and safe atmosphere,
and with proper guidance, integration and empowerment naturally
occur. Students learn to ‘connect the dots.’

Private Yoga Instruction
Great for beginners! Newcomers will learn the basics with
confidence. Students will learn proper alignment for their
individual body type and appropriate sequences of poses for
their personal needs. Also suggested as a refresher for students
returning to yoga and looking for refinement, alignment,
and feedback to advance and refresh. Back concerns, injury
recovery, technique, breath awareness…whatever area of yoga
practice you need support with, our staff will assist you

Group Lessons
We provide onsite yoga instruction for corporate seminars,
transition celebrations, family functions and wedding parties.
The classes are interactive, engaging and custom tailored
to fit your groups’ theme. Yoga is excellent for team building,
working through creativity blocks, enhancing group process,
and stress relief. It is revealing, empowering, and dynamic

Couples Yoga
Hatha Yoga lessons in tandem can be a very nice way to learn
yoga and deepen your relationship. These lessons are for
married couples, partners of all types and friends or family
pairs. An excellent way to study the many aspects of yoga

an overview. You may choose to learn yoga in the comfort
of your own home or in our beautiful and nurturing classroom.

Levels 1 / 2
- Students who have taken weekly classes for more
than 6 months
- You are able to go into shoulder stand with
some supervision
- You have a teacher training certification
for beginner Hatha Yoga instruction
- You practice at least
3 times per week
Advanced
- Level 1 / 2, plus a higher level teacher certification
- Level 1 / 2,
plus you are able to get into inversions with minimal support
- Level 1 / 2, plus you have a well established meditation
practice
